The GENS NANO face mask surface is treated twice with titanium oxide (TiO2) nanoparticle technology that forms a permanent, anti-bacterial, anti-mould, transparent thin film on the mask. This permanent coating is a photocatalyst which is activated by light and once activated, the oxidative properties on its surface will filter out all harmful organic bacteria, viruses, chemical substances, pollen, pollution, and mould for up to 20 days.
Titanium dioxide (TiO₂) is a naturally occurring compound
Global testing shows the effectiveness of titanium oxide (Ti02) surface coating is highly effective against the blood-borne viruses including HBV, HCV and HIV as well as against members of other virus families such as orthomyxoviridae (incl. all human and animal influenza viruses like H5N1 and H1N1), coronaviridae (MERS-CoV) and filoviridae including Ebola virus.
Organic Decomposition Feature
When the Ti02 front layer coating is exposed to sunlight, it can decompose almost all organic substances on the surface of the mask.
Anti-Bacterial and Anti-Mold
- the product can prevent mold or moss, so it will keep building exterior cleaner
- The anti-bacterial feature will not only effect the coated surface but also kill and decompose bacteria in the surrounding air because of the air flow.
GENS NANO coating can absorb some UV and protect the surface. The UV light may cause some colored surfaces to fade. Our coating protects the surface from the UV damage.
The antistatic feature can resist the static adsorption of the small dust such as ash, coal powder, etc. Independently tested also confirmed almost 100% of particulate pollution, bacteria and viruses were successfully filtered when tested.
